Video: Two Minutes of Raw, Ridiculous Deadman's Manly From Wednesday

It's a slightly comical edit, but you can't beat it for a quick turnaround. On Wednesday July 15 2020, the east coast of Aus was hammered by a Tasman Low. It was a bit hit and miss across Sydney, and there were quite a few broken boards, but those who paddled out and gave it a big ol' crack were many.

"Today’s huge pulse of SSE swell is just the first of several days featuring large to heavy surf across the entire Eastern Seaboard," says Coastalwatch Chief Swell Forecaster Ben Macartney.

"Wednesday leading peak in mid-period SSE swell was generated by a 40 to 50 knot south to SE fetch wrapping around the storm’s south and southwestern quadrants. Although that’s set to ease a bit overnight there will still be no shortage of size and power, with a stronger SE bias in swell direction likely to translate into similarly large surf across semi-sheltered breaks throughout the day."
