Gold Coast Regional Morning Report: 5.55am Monday, 18th January: There's a small south swell wrapping in at tiny, knee to waist high levels along the exposed beaches, while dribbling in along the points at sub-rideable levels. You'll fair better at one of the regional south-swell magnets for larger knee to chest-high sets. Light land-breezes are seeing mostly clean, slightly textured conditions. We're also just coming off an early 5.00am low tide, and it will run in to a 11.49am high.
Rest of the Day Outlook: Expect south swell to keep pulsing at similar levels throughout the day as winds gradually freshen from the north/ northeast at 10-15 knots, lending the focus to sheltered northern corners for the best conditions all day. The tide runs back out to a 6.20pm low. Have a great day.
