Gold Coast Regional Morning Report: 6.00am Tuesday, 19th January: Tiny south swell is trickling in around the ankle to knee-range along the exposed beaches and it's flat along the points. You'll need to target a regional magnet for a slightly larger wave, but keep your expectations low - it's tiny.  Winds are light and variable, puffing out of the WNW up to 5 knots, making for pretty ideal conditions along the most exposed open beaches, so you could do worse than get wet.

Rest of the Day Outlook:  South swell should hang in at similarly tiny levels all day as winds gradually come around to the north/ northeast at 10-15 knots, lending the focus to northern corners for clean conditions all day, opening up fun options along the exposed spots until a freshening SSE change arrives later this afternoon. The tide is low at 5.50am and fills in to a 12.25pm high. Have a great day.
