Gold Coast Regional Morning Report: 5.00am Thursday 21st January: Long-period southerly groundswell is mostly pushing straight past the Goldie this morning. Head south for some juice, or hit up the points and bays for a slow session in the waist high range, a little bigger on the infrequent sets. Freshening S winds are keeping a lid on the open beaches. Low tide around 8am.
Rest of the Day Outlook: South groundswell will keep on at these levels, but with moderate S winds limiting options to the semi-sheltered stretches all day. The tide is low at 8.04am and fills in to a 1.51pm high. Have an epic Thursday!
