SURF OUTLOOK

Tiny levels of leftover SSE swell linger in the 1ft range across the region and it's likely to flatten out during the day, with offshore westerly winds gradually turning WSW to SW and freshening in the late afternoon.

It is starting off to be a great day across the coasts beaches, however be prepared for smaller surf. An ESE swell coupled with the left over mix of ENE wind swell is rather small with the early low tide, wave height on average is around the 1-2ft+ mark at most under light to moderate WSW winds. The south facing open beach stretches are the go, with Coolum to Sunshine and along the Kawana stretch having the larger waves. Surf conditions are forecast to be pretty good through the day with SW to W winds. Enjoy your day in the waves. Spinksy
