Sydney regional surf report, 6.35am Monday, 18th January: There's still plenty of south swell in the water, running at a consistent chest to head-high, with less frequent sets still materialising at a couple of feet overhead across the south-exposed beaches if you're patient. Winds are light WNW, making for mostly clean, still slightly textured conditions in the wake of light overnight nor'easters. We're also on dead-low tide, and it will run in to a 12.44pm high.
Rest of the Day Outlook: Expect a slow decline in south swell throughout the day as winds gradually come around to the north/ northeast at 10-15 knots, lending the focus to true south-facing breaks for clean conditions all day. The tide runs back out to a 7.20pm low. Have a great day.
