Gold Coast Regional Morning Report: 6.15 am Tuesday, 2nd March: It's a cracking autumn morning with new, long-range ESE groundswell lines producing well organised sets in the chest to head-high range across the exposed beaches - perhaps a tad bigger at the magnets. Light westerly winds are opening up perfectly clean conditions and the sun is shining, so it's really worth getting amongst it. We're just coming off an early low tide and it's set to run in to a 10.24 am high.
Rest of the Day Outlook: Long range ESE swell keeps coming at a good size all day, lighting up all exposed breaks under a full morning of light autumn offshore breezes. A SSE change due this arvo will shift the focus to the points, but until then it's open slather. Go on, get out of bed, get off your phone and get out there! Have a great day.
