Today's rating - Poor
Sunshine Coast Regional Morning Patrol Report (Thursday 4th March 7:15am) Surf conditions resembling more like a washing machine this morning with very wind affected surf conditions coupled with poor wave quality across the region. The open beaches definitley having the most size, with lumpy bumpy waves on offer up into the head high range, a little sheltered out at The Bluff and corner, Point Cartwright and inside Moffats. The points of Noosa having a smaller cleaner wave, best for the longboarders. Expect some larger set waves as the morning tide continues to roll in. High Tide Maroochydore - 11:31am
Rest of the day outlook: Expect more of the same through the day with a blend of midrange south swell mixing in with the SSE windswell being torn apart by onshore ESE winds through the morning, shifting more from the SSE as the day moves along. The points being most favourable, with very wind affected surf along the open beach stretches. The outer points of Noosa will be the best (Low Tide Maroochydore 5:47pm) Enjoy your day in the waves.
