Sunshine Coast Regional Morning Report (Sunday 7th March 6:04pm) The Southerly Groudswell is missing most locations with the south facing open beaches attracting most of it. Expect uneven lumpy waves in the waist to head high range with the occasional larger set wave from Coolum north to Peregian, and along the Kawana stretch. It is looking a little more organised along the central beaches of Alex, Maroochydore and Currimundi south to Dickys, with smaller cleaner surf on offer. Surf conditions are fair earlier on, with a mix of S-SW winds in the southern corners, with light S-SE winds on the exposed locations. An outgoing tide with a Maroochydore Low Tide at 9:53am. Make the most on what is offer earlier on.
Rest Of The Day Outlook: Surf conditions and wave quality along the open beaches will deteriorate as the day moves along once those SE winds come into play, making the points being more favourable. If you don't mind the wind affected surf the open beaches will be your go to for size, a possible little extra push through the afternoon with the wind swinging more East coupled with the incoming tide. (High Tide Maroochydore 3:19pm) Enjoy your day in the waves. Spinsky
