Wollongong Regional Surf Report: 6.50am Tuesday, 2nd March: It's cold, grey and the surf is tiny; around knee to waist high along the exposed beaches and North Gong is even smaller. Moderate onshore southerly winds are producing textured, mushy conditions that aren't exactly going to set your world on fire, but there's a little uncrowded wave to be had if you're keen - and there's a bit more size inbound as the day progresses. The tide is on its way in to an 11.18 am high and it will run out to a 5.37 pm low.
Rest of the Day Outlook: A rising southerly windswell should see a slow build in energy throughout the day, with scope for a stronger increase during the late afternoon, but moderate to fresh onshore SSE winds will keep a lid on its appeal as they remain in place at 10-20 knots all day. Have a good one.
